LOL!

I clicked on your trip report expecting a story about a trip to the climbing gym, 'Planet Granite' being the name of a gym in the San Jose, CA area.

Nice report and pictures!

Re: LOL!

Ha, thanks for the nice words. Actually, that is the nickname given to a town, Granite City, IL, where my buddy BJ used to live near. I thought it a propos to tie that in together with this TR.

Ah, Santa Cruz, home of the Banana Slugs. Great place you live. I've been there a couple times and love the Boardwalk.

Congrats!

Great job persevering through the weather plus the hike with deadline. You definately earned this one. Is that a shot looking back through the keyhole?

Re: Congrats!

Thanks, and thanks for your PM. Yes, I took the one shot through the keyhole on my way down. Thought it was kind of neat and was surprised to see no one had posted one like that before.

Re: enjoyable reed indeed!

Thanks, Radek. I am working on my Black Peak ones but probably won't get those up for about 2 weeks as I leave in 2 days for New England Summitfest #3! Hope you get some good climbs in while I am gone. I imagine you have some trip planned over the holiday weekend.

Amazing Climb

Right now I am getting my first dose of Northwestern Hikes, Climbs and Scrambles. Amazing country back up here. So much to do in the Pacific Northwest!!!

Re: Amazing Climb

Thanks! What are you doing at a computer though? Get out in the mountains. ;- ) Glad you are enjoying it here. I fly out in two days to the Northeast to your part of the world. Take care and have some fun.

Re: Great TR Brian

Thanks! Appreciate it. I do have one more to do for one I recently did on Black Peak and I fly to the NE tomorrow for New England Summitfest #3 for me. Hope to have a few more soon. Thanks.
