Little Tin Cup Point & Little Tin Cup Peak
Overnight trip - Summited The Shard first on 8/26, then camped at the little lake found below Little Tin Cup Peak, before bagging both Little Tin Cup Point & Little Tin Cup Peak on the 27th!

Bitterroot 9ker number 18
Bitterroot 9ker number 18. Climbed with Andrew, we trail ran up to the gully cut off, and scrambled up. Made the summit in just under three hours. Traversed over to Little Tin Cup Point for extra credit.

Spectacular!
Climbed with Bill Schulz and Dell Meuchel on an absolute blue bird last day of summer! This area is everything Mike says it is and more! Of course we followed none of his advice on route selection, and climbed right up the gully to find some upper 4th class climbing, then went right over the false summit from the saddle! We got a bit smarter on descent and opted for the lower angled slope. A truly wonderful day in one of the most beautiful areas in the Bitterroots! Thanks for putting this route up Mike!

I Love This Area
13jul10 - The second time climbing this peak was with my friend Jim. We climbed both this summit after Little Tin Cup Point before returning to the trailhead.
15jul09 - I'd tried to reach this peak once before but was weathered out. This time was a success. I traversed along the connecting ridge from Little Tin Cup Point before descending. This is a terrific peak in one of the best back-country areas in the Bitterroots.
