Hiked this route twice once in the fall of '04 and again summer of '10. Eroded badly, very crowded trail, but great views from both mountains!

Banged Knee!
Banged my knee on an exposed tree root on the trail back to Cascade; created a bruise and a good cut. This 0.7 mile trail seemed a lot longer with the terrain. Fun mountain!

Quick Trip From Cascade
Hit up Porter after Cascade Mt. Sweet to hit up two 46ers in a quick manner... otherwise Cascade Mt. had much better view because of its bald summit. Windy! Probably 30 MPH sustained when totally exposed.
