Rode up on horse first time, then down and back up later on foot once, then finally down on horse. I was the lookout summer of 1969. Six weeks of solitude and grandeur.

Hot and Hazy Day
Hiked up here with my wife and Moni Spicker. It was part of a hot and dry spell, and there was significant haze from wildfire smoke as well. The guy manning the lookout was very friendly and we enjoyed a conversation as I waited for the others to catch up.
