View south at Prieto Canyon from the Brown Mountain east ridge in the San Gabriel Mountains. Prieto Canyon was home to the cabin of Owen and Jason Brown, the sons of famous Civil War abolitionist John Brown, after which Brown Mountain was named. April 27, 2008.
