Proud Mountain Goat , Indeed!

On our descent from Quandary Peak Summit before the East Ridge we were surrounded by six unintimidated, beautiful Mountain Goats...and one baby. It was just beginning to rain and this fella just walked up on the edge.....and posed for me! I was really scrambling to get my Nykon D50 out of the plastic bag....but he seemed to be just waiting there for me. 05-Sept 2007.

Thank you so much for your vote, and your comments! It was just beginning to rain and I was unsure I would be able to get my camera out of the plastic zip-lock fast enough - but amazingly, he just stood there as if waiting.
