The pictures turned out well in spite of the haze. Out here in the East, summers can get pretty hazy in the Appalachians.
Thank you for your comments. I spent some time in the Smoky Mountains one summer and learned up close and personal why they are called "smoky". A great area that I enjoyed.
1045 meters of prominence? I didn't see it on the Provo Peak page either.
I took your advice and included the prominence in feet and meters. Thanks for the suggestion
