Wonderful page, Vlado! I enjoyed reading it and as allways, you have great pictures.
I'd also have two proposals. First, one from far away, knowing not much of Durmitor, would probably like if you guys would be able to reach some organised presentation of this area. Now we have an excellent 'Durmitor' page, an excellent 'Prutas & Peaks of South Durmitor' page and an excellent 'Prutas' page. Would be fine to combine info, decide what to put on each of those.
Second, routes. You are listing a lot of Prutas ascents, with times. That's great. But would be fine to distinguish between climbs and walk-ups (you can generally speak of ascents). So, you are allways sayig - a 2h climb, a 3h climb. I think they are walk-ups mainly. I'd say that climb is, where you must use hands to advance up, others are walk-ups. And it would also be fine if you mentioned if there is a path or not. And if yes, is it marked or not.
First, before when i decide to make all these Durmitor peaks pages, i spoke with Sasa - how we will create Durmitor pages. He told me that he want to make his own pages and don't like to combine another authors. Also, his opinion was that his one Medjed/Savin Kuk/Sljeme is enough for those three peaks. My opinion si different. I think that every important peak of Durmitor massif must have his own page. Prutas&Peaks of South Durmitor is same thing. This is groups page, which include Prutas, Sedlena Greda, Stit, Lojanik, Boljske Grede. All those peaks deserves their own pages. I cannot change Sasa's opinion and that's good. His pages are excellent but i am not for grupation of peaks. Good example what is good is Julian Alps pages, where you can find page of every peak. I support this solution. But, there you can also find Mangart page, Jalovec page, and Mangart&Jalovec Group pages, what is maybe not so necessary.
Second, i will check my notes abote Prutas routes and i will see what can i change. I was thinking that 'Climbing time' means hiking, climbing and descent. It's not difficult to see that, because you have high above sea level in brackets and you can know what is descent and what ascent. Anyway, i will check this one more time. Thanks for your suggestion.
Fine, Vlado! I agree with you that each mountain should have its own page. And, as things are now, the whole Durmitor group page would be far enough. So, the level between is a bit redundant. In Julian Alps there are so many summits, that directing people only from the Julian Alps page would be difficult. That's why we made one level between.
Beautiful Page Vlado. I somehow agree with Vid. The pages are a bit confusing. Maybe you could put a capital GROUP everywhere there is a group page like we did in the Dolomites or Carnic Alps. It helps the foreigner distinguish the pages from the grey sidebar.

Untitled CommentDon't worry about Durmitor. Every important peak of Durmitor will have its own page. Prokletije also, Komovi also... Like every mountain massif...
Pozdrav,
Vlado
