pseudotsugaThe most widely-used English name for Pseudotsuga Menziesii is "Douglas-fir". The hyphen is included for a reason: it's not really a fir.

Any control for our correctness in SP is very needed. I used this name according to "Dictionary of Crop Plants" by Z. Podbielkowski (in Polish). There are given in this book two names: Douglas Fir and Red Fir, but both without some hyphen.
