The bark of Pseudotsuga menziesii from a tree growing on the SW slope of Radunia Mt., the Sleza Massif. A small group of such trees was introduced in this site by Germans (probably in the XIX/XX c.) as a new forest species.

The most widely-used English name for Pseudotsuga Menziesii is "Douglas-fir". The hyphen is included for a reason: it's not really a fir.

Any control for our correctness in SP is very needed. I used this name according to "Dictionary of Crop Plants" by Z. Podbielkowski (in Polish). There are given in this book two names: Douglas Fir and Red Fir, but both without some hyphen.
