They served thesecold smoked in Reykjavik, breast, and it tasted more or less like fish. Little did I know that I will see them again on cereal boxes, and then on SP. Maybe we should have stuck with :P hakarl instead...

We did see puffin on many menusOur local host was doing the ordering and the only reason I still remember this appetizer so many years later is because of this "Wow, it wasn't a fish?" kind of surprise. Unfortunately it was a tight-schedule business trip so we never got to see the countryside. The "city anthropology" was pretty amazing too, though :)
