Thanks for the comments on the photo.
Based on the topo map I have (from Nepal, questionable accuracy) the straight line distance from where I shot the photo to the summit of the peak is about 4-5 km. I was on my way up from Lobuje to Gorak Shep and likely a km or 2 away from Gorak Shep when I shot it.
