Punta dei Tre Scarperi

Punta dei Tre Scarperi

Punta dei Tre Scarperi ( 3146 m ) is one of my favourite mountains of the Dolomites. It lies in a very wild area and has no easy access like other famous dolomitic giants. A goal for "real" alpinists.

Have you climbed it?

I have a folder with unfinished work on my computer with a number of Tre Scarperi photos which only wait for the day that the page is set up ;-)

Re: Have you climbed it?

Not yet, but is one of my goals for the next years. I think not much people have climbed this summit and probably nobody of the members of this site. As the highest summit of the most beautiful group of the Dolomites it certainly deserves a page...

Re: Have you climbed it?

"Most beautiful" is always a matter of discussion! There are many other Dolomite peaks that have no easy route, e.g. in the Drei Zinnen or the Langkofel group.

Re: Have you climbed it?

Of course, it is just a personal opinion.
Actually there are other peaks in the Dolomites with difficult normal routes, but this is the highest summit of the Dolomiti di Sesto, so it's different.
Cheers!
