BeautifulVery nice picture! Was this taken this year? Is Party Rock also known as turtle Rock?

Re: BeautifulYes taken mid Feb this year. I am from Tahoe, born and raised but haven't lived there in nearly 12 years now. I haven't heard of Turtle Rock? Could be the same place, up near Heavenly Ski Resort off Saddle Road?

Re: BeautifulIt is a beautiful picture...Turtle Rock is located right above Meyers...it is those two hugh boulders that jut out at the top of the ridge...takes about 30 minutes to hike up to them..there are several ways I guess you can go up. I have not been to Party Rock....it too looks like you get nice views. Do you miss living in Tahoe?
