Question Mark Wall Traverse.

Question Mark Wall Traverse.

This photo shows the approach to the high ridge on Question Mark Wall, seen to the right of Lone Peak. After so many ascents up the north ridge of Lone, I decided to try an unconventional route and traverse Question Mark Wall. The going was fairly straight forward until hitting the buttress and the highest point on the ridge, which meant a sketchy downclimb several hundred feet on class 4 terrain on the south side. Another option would be to take pro to go to traverse the buttress or set up a sling and rappel about 50 feet down the wall on the north side to a ledge system below. Photo taken October 11, 2012.
