Thanks for the encouragement. SP has helped me find quick extra mountain trips when traveling to remote spots for other reasons, so I thought I'd add a few local peaks for the benefit of people who find themselves in my own home town. Might put on a couple of slightly bigger ones this summer.
You're kind, Eric. I am, of course, in awe of your photos which are so far beyond anything I have ever managed. If you ever come to Alaska, I'll take you along on one of these trips as my personal photographer!
Rainbow Peak lost its summit during the 7.0 earthquake on November 30th, 2018. Watch out for rockfall during the coming months. The following link shows a photo of the rock slide.

No CampfiresNice page. The one comment I have is that you should note that campfires are prohibited in Chugach State Park, except on gravel bars.
