"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Little sibling to Rano KauDidn't summit the HP, but views into the lake and especially across the island were great. In the not-too-distant past, there was no trail, even through the moai.

Maunga PukatokeiWe started from a trailhead near where the paved road meets the coast on the NW side of the mountain. From there we aimed for the Maunga Vai Heva saddle, then south to the summit. We circled the crater clockwise to find the high point to the south side of the crater. There are a lot of wrong, too high elevations published for this mountain. My GPS agreed with the 370 m found on a map I picked up on the island. Other published elevations over 400 m and over 1500' are wrong. Trip report to follow with more details.

Rano RarakuSince I did walk much of the way up this one, it might be considered one of my first summits. I liked to point at all the statues.
