gives me the chills!

there were 2 times in Oregon where I'd put my hand in a crack only to hear a rattle/buzzing noise....never saw one in there though (scared the sh.t out of me both times).

Re: gives me the chills!

well, my wife is a lot more studied than I...but supposedly, young rattlers can cause more of a problem if you are bitten just because they do not control their venom volume as well as an adult does....they don't know how to conserve for a 2nd strike I guess....I know the feeling Radek..been a few times I have stuck my hand in a hole and waited for a sec before I pulled it..going for Lady Wilson's Cleavage tomorrow mate...long day I guess...will see how it goes, sounds nice

Re: !!!

Barbara, most feel that way...for some strange reason, I feel as attracted to them as I am mamamals....I find turtles fascinating as well...but then, this is a guy who still stops to admire deer and elk even though I have seen 1000's of them...I have a funny bee story on Mrs. Buttersworth.....the irony was too much...I have it on SP I think....just in the route or mountain page of Buttersworth...bees are in big trouble right now it sounds like....read an in depth article where they are having a hard time farming them....cheers
