Photo taken on August 21st, 2017 in the evening from the Kölner Hütte below Rosengartenspitze. It was a spectacular moment that lasted for quite a while, what with the setting sun throwing its rays over the whole of South Tyrol. Way in the distance, on the upper left, one can discern the southern peaks of the Ortles-Cevedale group, on the upper right, the Ötztal Alps. Even a part of the city of Bolzano / Bozen is visible.
