Red Lady Bowl

This photo, taken from the summit of Mount Emmons, looks down into the Red Lady Bowl. The steepest portion of the bowl is out of view over the ridge crest and cornice in the foreground of the photo. The large avalanche path is quite obvious in this photo, as indicated by the plowed-over trees in the lower reaches of the bowl. Photo taken 3-28-06.
