"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Via Corkscrew PassHiked with the girlfriend. A nice, easy day. The BC is still holding a TON of snow. Conditions were super stable and solid though. Great views atop, better than I expected.

Via Corkscrew GulchWhat a lot of bang for the buck this mountain offers! We were able to sleep in, enjoy a liesurely breakfast, pack up, drive to the pass and summit this mountain than return and take a shower and finish packing...all before check-out time! The scree was very tolerable as a nice footpath/shelf has been stepped into the mountain. The colors from the summit simply blew me away. Hiking partner: Deb.
