Red Rock Rendezvous 14

Out of the Shade It was pretty pleasant in the mornings, when the wall was in the shade. Once the sun came out it got kinda warm. Best viewed at the larger size ============================================================================ I got a call from Ammon McNeely a couple of days before the RRR started this year, saying that he was teaching a Big Wall Speed Climbing clinic this year with Cedar Wright and wanted to know if I was interested in helping. He claimed it wasn't a trick question. I was originally scheduled to head to Zion to climb the Organasm and a small wall (Moonlight or Spaceshot), but those plans changed in a hurry. The event was great fun! I saw a lot of old friends and met some new ones. It was also a lot of work! 7AM meant time to head out to get the clinic ready, and that we were out there, in the heat until 5PM. They fed us well, however. And WHO can argue with free beer and wine?
