Retreat!

Very shortly after we reached the Fuller-Vermilion saddle we saw bad weather heading towards us from the west and then we heard a big crash of thunder. This resulted in a pretty much immediate retreat from the saddle. Vermilion will have to wait for another day! Ice Lake Basin San Juan Range - Colorado September 5, 2011
