Re: Agreed ..Down North Kaibab in the early a.m., lunch break at Phantom Ranch and then up Bright Angel. I would have preferred not carrying a full pack but I was just passing through the canyon on the AZT so no choice there.

Re: Agreed ..The AZT goes from the Utah border to the Mexican border- approximately 800 miles- and it runs through the Grand Canyon. I thru-hiked the trail from Oct 2010-Dec 2010. I did resupply in Flagstaff when I got there though! Cool place. :)
