Robleñada, the highest spot of Valladolid

Believe it or not, this is Robleñada. The highest point of the spanish province of Valladolid is the pile of stones in the center of the picture. It's placed by the border between Valladolid and Segovia, some twelve kilometers east of the village of Peñafiel. Picture taken in the afternoon of the 16th November 2005.

Curioso

Esta imagen me recuerda una controversia que tienen los americanos con algunos de sus highpoints (algunos en medio de una carretera). Los que se salen de lo establecido merecen mi respeto.

La culpa de esta foto la tiene un libro titulado "Los techos de España". Trabajando en Valladolid no hay muchas cosas a mano para aprovechar una tarde de otoño paseando, o sea que me fui a Robleñada. Eso sí: no llegué a tanto como para hacerle una página :)
