I have scrambled, alpine climbed, snow climbed, skied, camped, rock climbed, rode a horse, ran, introduced my grandchildren to Sierra hiking, and broke my ankle in this area for the past 17 years...one of my favorites! Been on every peak out there. :)

Easy, pretty, and popular
Not too many places in the Sierra (East or West) that have such a variety of scenery and activities with such easy access. Like many others, I plan to return.

Love this areaWe explored the lower part of the canyon often when I was young, hiked into the upper part when I was in my early 20's. Amazingly beautiful place!

Versatile AreaThe canyon and into Little Lakes Valley provides everything an outdoors person could want.
