What in the world...is this bird? It seems to fly like a hummingbird, but it sure doesn't look like any I've ever seen. Great photography.

Re: What in the world...Thanks for your comment! Surely it is not a bird but some kind of huge insect with body of 4-5 sm. They are quite common in Asia and south regions of Russia. I have no guess of its kind nor name. Looks funny:)

That's not a humminbird?Great photo, what is the altitude where this "non-hummingbird" lives? This is a unique shot, nice work. Shutter speed on this picture?

Re: That's not a humminbird?Thanks for your comment! It was in Crimea, the sea level altitude, but I met them as well in Pamir in ABC at 4400. Shutter speed 1/1250, 5,6, lens 200 mm
