Rottweiler attack.

Rottweiler attack.

My Saturday morning run (21 K from home to the rim) changed suddenly when I got bitten by a Rottweiler a couple hundred meters before getting to the crater rim. I was lucky this time and just got a cut in my right hand's thumb. (Nov.27.2010).

thumbs up! :)

Thank you, it's ok now. I still keep my thumbs up :).

It was kind of scary at the moment, cause I've heard stories about Rottweilers and Pitbulls killing people here and in other places. I thought I was dead already.

I had my back against the fence so it was hard to defend myself, luckily somebody came from behind the fence and handed me a tree branch.

I still love dogs and I think it wasn't the dog's fault but his owner's for letting him out.

Rottweiler attack.

bitten by the dog on your 21k run...that's radical...from the home to the rim...Well I have a dog story here...nothing in the mountains or valleys, I was walking my dog down the sidewalk in the condos, in the back there. There was this gal who was sitting on the front porch, One of the dogs came a running towards us so i picked charlie up quick and punched the dog in the snout... He had jumped up to get charlie, he is a wee bit smaller about bite size...I like dogs....so i felt somewhat bad after punching the dog and hearing the gal scream....I was somewhat mad and cursing myself...next time just throw charlie over the wall...
