The standard approach route for Roughhouse Mountain, one of the Top 100 "Back Court" peaks in the Washington Cascades.
During snowy periods, most people use the "Sno-Park" at Swauk Campground, walk west down Highway 97 to Forest Road 9715, and then hike/snowshoe to Old Blewett Pass and Roughhouse Mountain.
During snow-free periods, the approach roads are mostly attainable via vehicle.
