The best route up this mountain is to take the ridge that you can access near the 5100' level. Leaving a wash that has a huge boulder in it (a 4WD stopper) just before the road exits the wash is probably the best way to get up to the ridgeline that will take you all the way to the summit of Virgin Peak. 001 is where we parked 002 is where you should head up the hill toward the ridgeline 003 is located at near the 5800 foot contour. Find the easiest way through the brush and try and stay as close to the ridgeline as you can on the way up and down.
