Route up East colouir

A local guide book said this was the easiest route up She Devil and that She Devil was an easy peak to climb. We tried going up through the talus initially (skirting the snowbank) and that went fine but once past the snow the route steepens and the talus turns into extremely loose scree that is hard to gain upward progress through. We found it easier to climb the rock wall on the right side which was generally class three with a few class 4 spots. Once we got onto the wall, we made faster progress upward. At the saddle, we found a decent use trail that led west towards the summit of She Devil. This pic was taken in the early morning light and is very washed out. 8-6-06
