That is too funny. I found the same thing on this route and I struggled with the idea of bumping this to grade 4. For some reason I have been hesitant to change the grades from the guidebook for fear of backlash. I found it funny in the guide that it was rated 3+ and is described as hard for the grade. Maybe it was originally graded 3 and Joe bumped it to 3+. The party ahead of us hung on every other screw and set a belay mid pitch because they were too pumped.
Maybe I should just bump it up to grade 4. What do you think?
