Ruchi summit as seen from the east with its prime geological feature: the white stone is the Lochseiten limestone, marking the Glarus main thrust fault, dipping down northwards; below are marlstones of Tertiary age, Ruchi summit is built up of Verrucano stone of much, much older Permian age (22-07-2013)
