Rugosa Rose

In the Low Beskid, Rugosa Rose (Rosa rugosa) shrubs can be found on the edges of forests and near mountain streams. The plant has been named for the wrinkled (rugose) surface of its glossy green leaves. It blooms from May to June. Fragrant flowers range in color from white to yellow, pink, and purple.
