I usually do the same. But I've discovered that less people are in the mountains then. It's an interesting time to climb because you never know what conditions will be like! And really, this year has been such a year of learning for me... I don't think I would have felt comfortable doing as much last year. But I feel like I'm starting to get a small sense of the weather and the conditions etc.

Using the fall...You are really using late October and November...times when I put my feet up and napped on the weekend :)
