Sam heads up the center of the small roof found on the NW Buttress of Tenaya Peak. After surmounting the roof, he backed down after coming upon a blank slope. The easier route goes to the right of the roof. Sept 19, 2003

Ha!

Way back in the 1970s this was one of the first multi-pitch routes that we did. We got stuck above this roof after dark and down-climbed it blind at night! (We down-climbed routes in those days, rappelling was for wimps!)
