San Jacinto
Fabulous hike and peak. Everything was enjoyable about this one from the tram ride up, to the hike, to the awesome views from the summit, to the beers back at the gondola station. On my descent I went over to Jean Peak and made my way down from there. This hike completed the "3 Saints" over the three day weekend. Ultra number #36 for me, only leaving Eddy to get all the California Ultra's. California CoHP # 16.

Devil's Slide to PCT
Devil's slide to the summit, camped overnight in little round valley. Then continued to join the PCT back to Devil's slide. A decent amount of extra distance/elevation, but definitely worth it. Beautiful area.

With Boy Scouts. Carried a watermelon to top.
Also climbed again from the tram several years later.

round valley
Was going to camp at Round Valley but arrived in PS too late so took he 8am tram instead. Easy hike to summit.
No register there. Ranger said they want to "preserve the wilderness experience" meaning that that they must remove them whenever they find them.
Also the ranger said they leave camping permits outside the office at Long Valley for anyone to pick up if they take a late tram or arrive after the office closes (at about 5:30)
Hard to "preserve the wilderness experience" when the summit is absolutely swarming with people!

Started from museum at 3A. Made the peak at 1P. Weather was great, with sunny warm temps and a slight breeze. Went on short hike off the main trail to Miller Peak on the way back to the tram.
Beautiful hike, one of the prettiest summits so far, horrible parking!!!! Will do it again in the winter!

Ran up on a great day!
Ran up the Cactus to Clouds route from the North Lykken/Ramon Street trailhead. It was a really nice day, albeit a bit hot with some serious wind below 4000 feet. I hit a bit of snow above 6500 feet, but it was never terrible. I probably should've put IceSpikes on, but didn't. I didn't go real hard and made it to the tram in about 3 hours and 20 minutes of running time. I ate lunch and waited there for my wife to get up the tram and join me and then the two of us went the rest of the way to the summit. It was quite windy and cold on top, but beautiful! We made it round trip in about 2:20. Amazing experience.
Once via Cactus to Clouds from the Art Museum, and twice from Mountain Station. One of my favorite mountains.

Countless visits, just one sign-in
I've done this peak too many times to even count but I better sign it in just once. Summit registers shouldn't be this easy to reach :) Love this peak, trying not to wear it out. Favorite route is via Fuller Ridge since you can see your destination most of the way and its a ridge.
one of the most grueling climbs ive ever done. the rocks that say 4300 ft were extremely demoralizing, but the summit views are to die for. took the tram back down and im not ashamed

Via Marion Mtn.
Pretty easy climb over all. There was a small amount of snow covering portions of the trail at higher elevations. The road up to the trail head is in poor condition but still made it up there in my car. One bummer was that someone had stolen the sign from the summit.

I got my twin brother to join me on another South Cal ultra. I wish there was snow it was just soo dry. I should probably aim for spring on the next one.

Great view!
Stayed in Round Valley two nights, summitted on our layover day - highly recommend spending time on the mountain like this, it's gorgeous and peaceful at night. Not too many people hike during the week, so we often had the trail to ourselves. The climb was fun and the view spectacular!
