San Martino

San Martino

Along the trail to Pizzo San Martino(Saint Martin peak) from Anzasca valley there is a chapel with this picture of the Saint indicating to some angels the big cross on the Summit. The cross was posed by the inhabitants of the Village named Vanzone San Carlo, that used to pilgrim to the summit to give homage to the Saint. PS: Look the scratches on the paint, in Italy idiots wanna always display how dumb they are!

Idiots

can be found in many areas of the world.
They are never concentrated in one area.
The world deserves a few more Saints
and Peacemakers, which are getting harder
to find. At least in this world ...

Re: Idiots

you are right, but a work like the one above it's more easy to find in some countries that in others, I think that In Iran nobody would never do such a crappy opera, well note tha I am against every integralistc regime, but I think that in reach countries sometimes people have simply lost respect at all.
I think that it's anyhow a shame to ruin something for which some people have worked and that represent a commmon feeling for others.
Especially in a place like this.
You are right...saints or simply men which put the common interest before their own are harder to find today.

Re: Idiots

Your English is very expressive and I CAN
comprehend or understand what you are saying
in regards to your picture. That's why I
urge people to take their children into the
wilderness, where they will be taught lessons
and LEARN the common respect that binds all
people together. And if you want a meal, then
you have to WORK for it! In a society of
fools, people have everything much to easy.
No more respect for OTHERS.

Re: Idiots

Someone recall my attention to the fact that sometimes my writing seems a little agressive, It's due principally to the fact that in the end I don't know english very well, anyhow I hope this is not the case.
I don't see SP like a site where to start diatribes but I think it's quite a pity when you are walking in remote places, and you see acts like this.
I am not a very religious person but I think that chapels like this are concrete pieces of the history of these places and should be totally respected.
