Re: A tree to rememberI believe it is a bristlecone pine...We saw several trees like this near Death Valley and then drove through the Bristlecone forest to get to the trailhead for White Mountain Peak....they all looked very similar....amazing trees!

Nice specimenCool. That baby certainly appears to be in the 1k+ catagory. I love to see trees like that along the trail!
