Have to make it there!Great trip report with very nice photos. I have to make it there one day. Sooooo much closer than the Himalayas and Los Andes, but obviously hard to get to for me.

Try it summer time!This report brought back memories of our shorter trip in Sarek. It was summer, very warm, full of mosquitoes, but a second to none experience! We were very lucky with the weather. Well, one day we decided to walk during the night because it was too hot during the day. And we got to the lake at 6 or 7 in the morning, tired. I could not sleep, but my wife and brother in law did. There were a lot of mosquitoes, I got bitten but did not feel anything, whereas people we met at a hut were in pain.
I will got back there some time!

Wild placeSarek is a really wild place. Those which are rare in Europe. My wife and I have done a great 5 day hike in summer. With very nice weather and a lot of mosquitos. We hope to come back once.
