Saturday, July 12, 2003. This low-res photo was taken on the final approach to the summit of Mount Evans on the Summit Ridge Route. Unfortunately, as you round the corner, you begin to see your arduous efforts de-crowned by a parking lot full of Evans-goers making their final “summit approach.” This picture was taken with a panoramic disposable but if you look closely you can see climbers/drivers on the summit of Mt Evans. If you are into BASE jumping or paragliding, this would be a great candidate!
