From the summit of Elk Mountain are: (left to right) Mount Shields, Snowslip Mountain and Running Rabbit Mountain, the Ole Creek drainage and Scalplock Mountain. The peaks in the distance are located in the Flathead Range as well as the Great Bear Wilderness.
