Route Climbed: From Eisgrat Cable Car Station Date Climbed: 10th July 2005
Due to poor weather climbed this peak. Walked up "Glacier walk" to Stubier Eisjoch. Then scrambled up to summit. Summited in blizzard. Good to use ice axe and crampons again.

I was 11 years old when I summited Schaufelspitze. The first time I went over 3000m. All I can remember is the beautiful view on Zuckerhutl and the crowds on the summit.
Route Climbed: Scramble/Hike up the Backside Date Climbed: June 2000
Nice quick hike from the base after crossing a small glacier. Lots of friendly people on top since this is a 3000er just about anyone can do. Great views of the Stubai range if you want to recon a traverse of the range. So many inviting and seemingly touchable peaks in the area. Recommend this one as an objective for any non-climbers travelling with you (especially any fit senior citizens).

Lovely viewWalked up from the first skilift station. Last bit is steep but manageble. Skilift down is free.

Route Climbed: West Ridge Date Climbed: Winter 1975 (?)Standard ascent by ski, last 250m simple scramble.
This was before it became a skiing resort.
