Scree fields and climbers on...
Scree fields and climbers on the way to the third "portillo" or "little mountain port". At the end, there are some places with so much sand and ash, than you spend more time sliding down than climbing up. The end of ths particular section of the route is a place known as "la jabonosa" or the soappy one. Just add water (from he rain) and you can ride the slide a loooong way. February the 5th, 2005.
