Seeing Past The Percolator

Seeing Past The Percolator

The Percolator, a.k.a. Coffeepot Rock, shows its south face as the sun sinks slowly into the West. Do you see the "strange footprint" pattern on the rock? I hadn't noticed it until now. Is there an Arizona version of "Sasquatch" running around in central Arizona? If there was, it'd probably be shedding its fur in this "cesspool of heat." Actually, another snowstorm is predicted for Arizona this weekend. February 22, 2010

It does resemble a coffee percolator!

Not that everyone today would even remember what one even is! And the colors with snow in the background really contrast nicely.

Hope you enjoy all your snow Larry! We are so ready for the snows of December, January and February still piled up everywhere to finally melt. Even brown grass is welcome at this point!

Re: It does resemble a coffee percolator!

Thanks, Kathy! Boy, do I know what you're talking about !!!

Actually, "cowboys" (in Arizona) still use
coffee percolators with copper bottoms to
brew coffee over an open flame.

I know! It's a very "far cry" from Starbucks, or what they give you at the motel or gasoline station!

Hope that snow melts for you soon, Kathy !!!

As always, Mister L ....
