Nice little family hike up to Harrison Lake, with nice views of Harrison Peak and a higher unnamed peak from the lake. Encountered hail and a lot of rain on the way down, which was a refreshing change from the mostly dry hikes I’ve done in Utah.
Did west ridge of Pigeon, NE ridge of Bugaboo, Snowpatch route on Snowpatch and Beckey Chouinard on South Howser. Had only 5 days, and did 4 climbs. Very happy with the trip.
Topped out on a bunch of stuff while doing wildlife surveys in this range one summer. Mostly everywhere you go out of Bonners Ferry is crowd free. Tons of wildlife viewing.
