Not sure why I posed for a hero shot at this random point on the ridge rather than on Sella's lookout at the end of the footsteps. Vittorio Sella, the famed Italian photographer and climber, went up there in 1889 to shoot the first photographic panorama of Bezengi. Bashkha-Auz Range between Bezengi and Dychsu glacier systems. August 1987
