How was the descent? I"ve arrived later than planned on that summit and had to bivy because the start of the descent is tough in the dark. It's hard to go from visions of beer at the deli to unplanned bivying in a manzanita bush, but luckily summer in Yo never gets too cold and the summits have nice sandy spots.

Awesome trip report Bruce!!!!! You just made my day. I'd like to climb that route.
Descent was casual. I've been down the gully more than 10 times, but I still wouldn't want to do it in the dark. We bivied, sans water, and hiked out in the morning. As I recall, that was unplanned bivy #43 or so.
