Me Too

That is mount Jefferson. Supposedly the toughest to obtain in Oreogn. There is a large rock/ice covered spire on top that requires roped climbing.

Re: Me Too..

What about Mount Theilsen? Isn't it pretty tough?

I have (yet) to climb Jefferson or Theilsen,
and I know (for a fact) they would both kick
my ass !!! !!

I see another volcano out there, off to the left of Jefferson. Is that the North Sister?

Re: Me Too..

I think that's the top of Mount Hood. Mount Thielsen is supposed to be tough at the top too, but I think Jefferson is a much harder climb at the summit. It is definently an impressive mountian. Someday I will get on that one I'm sure.

Re: Me Too..

I'd rope up on Thielsen during the winter, but if the rock is exposed up there I find it a real easy climb to free solo. Jefferson and North Sister seem a lot more intimidating to me.
