Followed Sheep up with Stone Mountain.
Pretty long hike for a summit that could just be another campsite. However, there is a beautiful, bushwhacking secret a few hundred meters to the west ;)
An easy hike with my wife. We added Stone Mountain on the way down, which was nice.
Nice trail that starts out steep. Summit is nothing to write home about but it is a good resting place after the 4+ mile hike in and the 2,700 foot elevation gain.
Parts of the hike are neat, but the top is just a pile of rocks, no beautiful view.
Obligatory early season hike
Getting out in the snow for a few hours. We were the first ones up since the recent snow and were happy to see a large number of (big) lion tracks criss-crossing the summit.
CMC hike for C level Classification. It was pretty hot and sunny on the way up, but some thin clouds rolled in and cooled things off a bit on the way down. There was some haze in the air, possibly due to a wildfire burning in Coal Creek Canyon the day before. This was my second time up Sheep Mountain.

Views of RMNP are actually pretty nice up there.
I rate this in the same class as Green Mountain in Boulder. It is a good training hike if carrying lots of weight, even though the 2,700-some-odd feet of gain is spread over nearly 5 miles.
