Shelter Outcrop Boulder

A larger boulder at the outcrop behind Byrd's Nest Shelter. From this outcrop, there are nice views to the west, including to the Byrd's Nest Crags. At the outcrop, you can find easy bouldering and kid-friendly scrambling. Old Rag Mountain; Shenandoah N.P. VA-- April 2009
